The city's Community Services Department offers organized sports activities, excursions, classes and other recreational opportunities for all age groups. There are three public golf courses in the city. Soccer, Girls Softball, Little League Baseball and Pop Warner Football leagues are well established in Brea, and the city boasts one of the strongest Scouting programs in the county. The city also has a Boys and Girls Club which offers after school child care programs and summer recreation programs.
