Tustin Real Estate and Relocation Information
In 1986, 2,257 acres of the Irvine Ranch
preserve were annexed and "Tustin Ranch" was
created. The major usage of this land is the 7,000 homes
already constructed. New schools are being developed as
well as additional developments of the Marketplace. Tustin
Ranch also has the 165-acre golf course. Also, 60 acres
of open space consisting of Parks and recreational facilities.
The old town area has many historical buildings and Victorian
houses. If driving down some of the streets, or walking,
you can notice the historical past, and just imagine what
life must have been like. Tustin has an excellent
schooling system in place; test scores have indicated
that it is a good school district, and the large number
of educated scholars has attracted a large percentage
of professional people to the area. Although, homes,
schools, shopping centers have replaced most citrus orchards,
there still are wild eucalyptus trees, oak trees, and
wild life hiking areas within the vicinity. So, Tustin
continues to be known as the "city of trees".
